Our story
A bridge built on
lived experience.
Two brothers. A lasting connection with Japan. A shared commitment to helping others feel the same sense of welcome.
The idea behind NiBha
Understanding begins
with being there.
NiBha Consulting is the idea of two brothers with a deep connection to Japan. Having spent formative years there, they experienced its culture, manners and working life first-hand.
After building experience across different firms, they launched NiBha with a simple intention: extend the warmth and sense of belonging they felt in Japan to Japanese firms exploring India — and help Indian enterprises navigate Japan with the same care.

Shrey Singhvi
“Japan has profoundly shaped who we are, both personally and professionally. The warmth and respect we experienced there inspired us to create NiBha Consulting — a bridge built to offer that same welcome to Japanese firms and individuals in India.”
Shrey brings over seven years of first-hand experience living and working in Tokyo. What began as a commitment to supporting the family business grew into a deep fluency in the Japanese language and culture — reflected in his early achievement of JLPT N1 certification. This opened the door to a five-year career at Kineya, a leading Japanese jewellery company, where he gained an insider's understanding of Japanese corporate values and work culture. Upon returning to India, Shrey went on to work with several respected firms like NEC and WNS Global Services, applying his bilingual expertise and problem-solving skills to cross-border business challenges. This diverse experience across Japan and India laid the foundation for NiBha Consulting — his vision to build a more structured, reliable bridge between the two nations.

Shaurya Singhvi
“Having had the privilege of playing sports in Japan, I learned invaluable lessons in discipline, teamwork, humility, and a never-say-never spirit. These values continue to shape the way we work at NiBha Consulting.”
Shaurya's journey to Japan began right after high school, driven by a passion for football and a pursuit of sporting excellence. He earned his Bachelor's degree at Nippon Sport Science University (Nittaidai), one of Japan's most prestigious sports institutions, where he also competed as part of the university football team. During his time there, Shaurya achieved JLPT N1 certification and earned a JFA Coaching License, while part-time work gave him practical, ground-level exposure to Japanese work culture. Before co-founding NiBha Consulting, he worked as a Japanese language specialist across multiple firms and industries in India, helping consulting firms and their Japanese clients communicate seamlessly with Indian counterparts. Today, Shaurya is dedicated to making India feel like a true second home for Japanese businesses and individuals alike.
